Next week Mallory and I fly out to New York for the Red Hook Crit in Brooklyn. I will be riding a barrowed Rock Lobster S3 steel track bike set up nicely with top shelf parts. To top things off, Easton set me up with a set of carbon TKO track wheels for the event. If you have never heard of the Red Hook then you should check out this site. Simply put, it's raced on a fixed gear bike that has no brakes on closed city streets with 80 other people. Timbuk2 mailed over a sweet custom Red Hook bag to use on my trip while Giro has some killer custom Red Hook shoes and helmets. Put on by the Trimble family, this race is a big deal in the fixed gear world.
